Welcome to the South East regional hub for Social Farming information
Farming activities are now being used nationwide as a pathway to improve the wellbeing of young people and adults.
Outcomes confirming the benefit:
Full engagement, increased self-esteem, motivation and confidence, improved work and social skills, lower levels of truancy and challenging behaviour, knowledge of farming, food and the countryside significantly expanded.
FarmBuddies is a Social Farming Introduction Service
Our role in West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Berkshire, as well as other counties in the Southern Region, is to identify for you the nearest Social Farm with an available place, that matches the participant's interests and needs. We work with parents, carers and a wide variety of Social, Health and Educational organisations.
